"Your Tablet Computer Cannot Perform This Action" Error Message When You Start Your Tablet PC or When You Put Your Tablet PC on Standby (824626)

SYMPTOMS

When you start your Tablet PC, or when you put your Tablet PC on standby, you may receive the following error message:
Your tablet computer cannot perform this action. For assistance, contact your software manufacturer
Even though you receive this error message, your Tablet PC starts or goes on standby as expected and Windows Tablet PC Edition functions as expected.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you press a tablet button on the Tablet PC at the same time that you start your Tablet PC or at the same time that you put your Tablet PC on standby.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, do not press a tablet button at the same time that you start your Tablet PC or at the same time that you put your Tablet PC on standby.
