SYMPTOMS You may find that Virtual PC is not stable when it is running on Mac OS 9. CAUSE This issue occurs because Mac OS 9 may have compatibility issues with Virtual PC that are not present in later versions of the operating system.RESOLUTION To improve the stability of Virtual PC when it is used with Mac OS 9, upgrade to Mac OS 9.2.2 or later. Several changes have been made to Mac OS 9.2.2 and later to improve Virtual PC performance. This upgrade is free for OS 9 owners.
