Virtual PC for Mac supports DirectX on some computers for some games.

Some games have performance requirements, such as hardware accelerated video or video memory, that exceed the capabilities of Virtual PC. Microsoft does not recommend Virtual PC for Mac as a games solution for Macintosh computers.

Games that run under MS-DOS do not use DirectX.
