SYMPTOMSWhen you publish your meeting agenda, your invitees, and the
materials that are required for the meeting in a meeting request in Outlook
2003, the following might occur:
- The Start NetMeeting button or the
Join Conferencing button appears on the
Standard toolbar.
- The This is an online meeting using check
box is selected in your meeting request.
- Microsoft NetMeeting is selected as the
type of meeting that is scheduled in your meeting request.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs when you click Meeting Workspace on the Appointment tab of your meeting request and then click Create in the Meeting Workspace task pane.STATUSThis behavior is by design. Although the meeting type that

meeting request.
When you click Start NetMeeting or
Join Conferencing, your Meeting Workspace meeting is
started.MORE INFORMATIONA Meeting Workspace is a Web site that centralizes all the
information and the materials for one or more meetings. Before the meeting, use
a Meeting Workspace to publish the agenda, the attendee list, and the documents
that you plan to discuss. During or after the meeting, use the Meeting
Workspace to publish the meeting results and to track tasks. Send a meeting
request to invite people to the meeting. In the meeting request, include a
hyperlink to the Meeting Workspace where invitees can learn about the meeting
details and see the materials.
