You cannot find the Junk Senders list after you upgrade to Outlook 2003 (822974)

SYMPTOMS

When you upgrade Microsoft Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003, you cannot find the Junk Senders list that you created in Outlook 2002.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, import the Junk Senders.txt file that was created in Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Outlook 2003.
  2. Click Tools, and then click Options.
  3. On the Preferences tab, in the E-mail box, click Junk E-mail.
  4. Click the Blocked Senders tab, and then click Import from file.
  5. In the Import Blocked senders dialog box, expand C:\Documents and Settings\Your_Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
  6. Click Junk Senders.txt, and then click Open. All the entries that are in the Junk Senders file that you have selected are imported to Outlook 2003.
  7. Click Apply, and then click OK two times.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
