Using Smart Display Input Panel in Chinese Language with Alphanumeric Character (822840)

SYMPTOMSSome text input such as alphanumeric characters from the Smart Display Writing Pad or the Input Panel Quick Key may not be entered in your program with your Windows XP Professional Chinese Language-based host computer's Input Method Editor (IME), when the host computer's IME is in certain modes.WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, select the English mode in the Windows XP Professional Chinese Language IME. Near the lower-right corner of your screen, a toolbar for your language IME appears. Select the English input mode from the toolbar, and then enter the alphanumeric characters in your program.STATUS
