How to change the placement of your notes in OneNote 2003 (822567)

SUMMARYThis article describes how to change the placement of your
notes in Microsoft Office OneNote 2003. Some important things to
remember:
- The tabs across the top of the page represent the sections
and folders that are currently open.
- The tabs along the side of the page represent pages in each
section of your notebook.
back to the topMove the Contents of a PageTo rearrange the contents of a page, do either of the following:
- To move your notes on the page, click the top edge of a
note container, and then drag the container.
Note A container is the gray-shaded area where your text is
typed. - To move a paragraph, move the pointer over the paragraph
handle until the pointer becomes a four-headed arrow, and then drag the
handle.
back to the topMove a Page in a SectionTo change the order of the pages in a section, follow these steps:
- Click a page tab, and then drag it sideways until a small
triangle appears. The triangle indicates the location of the page.
Note To select more than one page, press and hold down CTRL or SHIFT
while you click page tabs. - Drag up or down until the triangle indicator is at the
location that you want, and then release the mouse button.

- Right-click the page tab for the page that you want to
move.

Another Section.
- In the Move or Copy Pages dialog box,
click the section or the folder where you want to move the page.
Note If you have to create a section or a folder when you move the
page, click Create New Section or Create New

- Right-click the section tab that you want to move, and then
click Move.
- In the Move Section To dialog box, click a
section or folder. When you click Move, the section tab that
you selected in step 1moves below the selected section or folder.

follow these steps:
- Right-click the folder tab that you want to move, and then
click Move.
- In the Move Section To dialog box, click a
section or a folder. When you click Move, the folder tab that
you selected in step 1 moves below the selected section or folder.

- You cannot drag sections to move sections.
