Not all Stop 0x0000001E errors are caused by the issue that is described in this article.
CAUSEThis issue may occur if there is a synchronization problem that permits a device object that is maintained by the Cluster Disk Driver (ClusDisk.sys) to be set to a NULL value and then reused on a separately running thread. This condition may occur if the Cluster Service issues a Disk Reserve operation at the same time that the Plug and Play Manager component is servicing a removal event.RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes.
