SYMPTOMSWhen you use Component Services on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, you cannot start the Microsoft COM+ Queued Component (QC) Dead Letter Queue Listener when you are in Microsoft Message Queuing (also known as MSMQ) Workgroup mode.CAUSEThis problem occurs if the machine GUID does not exist when you run MSMQ in Workgroup mode.RESOLUTIONHow to obtain the hotfixThis issue is fixed in the Windows 2000 Post-Service Pack 4 COM+ 1.0 Hotfix Package 27.
