Outlook 2003 stops responding and you receive an error message that references the Nakrnl32.dll file when you use Outlook 2003 (822506)

SYMPTOMS When you use Outlook 2003, you may receive the following
error message and Outlook 2003 may stop responding:
Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience.
To see what data this error report contains,
click here. When you view the data in the error report, the report
contains an error signature that is similar to the following:

Outlook.exe appversion Nakrnl32.dll modver 0000681e
where appversion is a number equal to
or greater than 11.0.5329.6, and where modver is a
number equal to or greater than 4.5.276.0. Additionally, other offsets are
possible. CAUSE The problem may be caused by a Microsoft Exchange add-in
named the McAfee Virus Scan Alert Manager.
Note The McAfee Virus Scan Alert Manager is manufactured by Network
Associates, Inc.
