BUG: You cannot remove Meeting Workspace Web sites from an existing workspace list in Outlook 2003 (822505)

SYMPTOMS When you use the Meeting Workspace pane to
select a workspace in Outlook 2003, you may find that many Meeting Workspace
Web sites are listed, and that you cannot remove these workspaces from the
list. Additionally, you cannot sort or edit the list in any way. CAUSE This problem may occur if you have used many Meeting
Workspace Web sites. STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION A Meeting Workspace is a Web site for centralizing all the
information and materials for one or more meetings. Before the meeting, use a
workspace to publish the agenda, attendee list, and documents that you plan to
discuss in a meeting. During or after the meeting, use the workspace to publish
the meeting results, track tasks, or send a meeting request to invite people to
the meeting. In the meeting request, include a hyperlink that goes to the
workspace where invitees can learn the meeting details and see the materials.
Note If you are familiar with Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services
Web sites, you may be familiar with Meeting Workspace. A Meeting Workspace is a
special type of Windows SharePoint Services subsite under a parent Windows
SharePoint Services Web site. Help for the Meeting Workspaceand general Windows

This is
controllable by policy, and permissions could change this
problem.
