FIX: Support for the automatic process dump feature in COM+ on a Windows 2000-based computer (822470)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft COM+, when used with:
- the operating system: Microsoft Windows 2000
SUMMARYThis article describes a change in the functionality of
Component Services when it is used with Microsoft Windows 2000. By default, in
Windows 2000, when a failfast occurs in a component service, a file is not
automatically created to store the process data from the component service that
experiences the failfast.
After you apply the hotifx that is
described in this article, a process dump file is created automatically
whenever a failfast occurs in Component Services.
