You Cannot Open the Properties Page for Databases or Web Components from UDDI Services Nor Can You Completely Remove UDDI Services on a Computer That Uses a Turkish System Locale (822441)

SYMPTOMS

If you use Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) Services on a computer that uses a Turkish system locale, you may experience the following problems:
  • If you open the UDDI Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in, you cannot open the properties page for databases or the properties page for Web components.
  • If you click a database or a Web component, the Properties command does not appear on the Action menu.
  • If you right-click a database or a Web component, the Properties command does not appear on the shortcut menu.
  • If you remove UDDI Services, files and folders in the Inetpub\UDDI folder are not removed. All the items should be removed except the Data folder.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix Information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Windows Server 2003 service pack that contains this hotfix.
