The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition

SYMPTOMS

After you use Plus! Audio Converter in Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition, the files that are converted to WMA files may not play back in your WMA-compatible device, such as a WMA CD player or a HighMAT player. Specifically, you may experience one of the following issues:
  • The file does not play or is not recognized on your WMA-compatible device.
  • The file starts to play and then jumps to the next track before audio starts.
  • You receive the following error message
Cannot play group x, content y.
where x is the group number and y is the content number of the media.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because of the way that the files were encoded by Plus! Audio Converter.
