windows. CAUSEThis problem may occur if you try to add a group of users
(for example, a distribution list) to the permissions of a public

example, add a user who has a globe next to their name. To do this, follow
these steps:
- Start Outlook 2003.
- Open the public folder that you want other users to have
access to.
- Right-click the public folder, and then click
Properties.
- On the Permissions tab, click
Add.
- In the Add User dialog box, click to
select a user, and then click Add.
- Repeat step 5 for each individual user who you want to give
access to the public folder.
- Click OK to close the Add
User dialog box.
- Click OK to close the
Properties dialog box.
