Add-ins installed in PowerPoint 2002 are available to PowerPoint 2003 (820704)

SUMMARY

If you install both PowerPoint 2002 and PowerPoint 2003 on the same computer, when you install an add-in to PowerPoint 2002, the add-in is available to PowerPoint 2003. The reverse is also true, when you install an add-in to PowerPoint 2003, the add-in is available to PowerPoint 2002.

This behavior occurs because both PowerPoint 2002 and PowerPoint 2003 share a common Add-ins folder. The location of the common Add-ins folder is:

path\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns
