Replication tools fail when a COM+ application proxy is installed on the source computer (819978)
The information in this article applies to:

- the operating system: Microsoft Windows XP
- Microsoft COM+ 1.0 , when used with:
- the operating system: Microsoft Windows 2000
SYMPTOMS Replication tools, such as Iissync.exe and Comrepl.exe,
fail with the following error message: STATUS

.apl' while exporting application 'MyProxyApp' . Error code was 80110407.
Make sure all the component files in this application are accessible. Make
sure the folder is not open in another application, including the Windows
Explorer. Errors occurred - refer to the log file for
details. CAUSE Replication tools cannot synchronize computers if a
Microsoft COM+ application proxy is installed on the source computer.
RESOLUTIONHow to obtain the hotfixWindows 2000This issue is fixed in the Microsoft Windows 2000 Post-Service Pack 4 (SP4) COM+ 1.0 Hotfix Package 27.
