You Cannot Synchronize Data with Your Personal Organizer (819256)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade Microsoft Windows 98 or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition to Windows XP Home Edition, you may not be able to synchronize your data correctly with your personal organizer.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you have a version of Microsoft ActiveSync installed that is earlier than version 3.5.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download and install the latest version of Microsoft ActiveSync. To do so, visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/default.mspx
