WD2002: Forward Navigation Button Does Not Work with Cross-References (817777)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to move between cross-references in a Word document, the navigation buttons on the Web toolbar cannot be used to go back and forth between cross-references. This functionality does not seem to be working correctly. Although the Back button on the navigation toolbar works one time, the Forward button does not. This symptom occurs if you use files in an Open Document Management (ODMA) environment.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because a data structure for the browser history is not created, and this disables the Back and ForwardWeb toolbar buttons.
