"PIP Caused An Error" Error Messages When You Open Images (817757)

SYMPTOMS

When you open an image in Picture It!, you may receive the following error message:
PIP caused an error in browseui.dll.

When you try to open the same image again, you may receive the following error message:
PIP caused an error in piorg7.dll
This may occur for images that you have opened successfully before.

CAUSE

The installation of Microsoft Internet Explorer may be damaged.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, repair or reinstall the Windows operating system that you are using.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
