SYMPTOMSIf you are running Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 3 (SP3) or Microsoft Windows 2000 SP3 and an unexpected internal error condition occurs in a Microsoft COM+ program, the FailFast service does not work and the CPU usage increases unexpectedly.CAUSEThis problem occurs because the Stackwalker object in the FailFast service loops endlessly.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
