Performance and Default Tree Issue with Resource Gallery Browser (817048)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Content Management Server 2002
SYMPTOMSAfter you add many resources to one or more resource galleries in the Content Management Server database, you may experience time-out problems when you try to enumerate the resources by using either the View as list or the View as tree option in the Resource Manager browser.CAUSEThis behavior is a performance issue that is caused in the View as tree
interface. This problem occurs because the caching mechanism that is employed when you try to enumerate the tree is caching more than one level of the resource
gallery tree. RESOLUTIONService pack information
