NLBMgr.exe F1 Help Run on MUI Appears in English (816912)

SYMPTOMS

When you are using Windows Server 2003 and you have a Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) installed, you may see English content mixed with non-English content in Help and Support. Also, when you press F1 for Help in Network Load Balancing Manager (Nlbmgr.exe), you may see English content.

CAUSE

This behavior happens on the English language version of Windows Server 2003 with the Mulitlingual User Interface for any East Asian language installed.

WORKAROUND

Install Windows Server 2003 in the localized (East Asian) language instead of using the MUI on the English-language version.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
