This WebCast will discuss the Message Queuing (also known as MSMQ) 3.0 feature set by providing coding examples and best practices in Microsoft Visual C# and Microsoft Visual Basic .NET. It will talk about how to write code that uses the Message Queuing .NET object model. The WebCast will also provide an in-depth look at how Message Queuing uses the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Controller (MSDTC) for transaction management. It will also provide detailed information about the Message Queuing migration process from MSMQ 1.0 and MSMQ 2.0, moving to MSMQ 3.0. The WebCast will also discuss best practices for monitoring your Message Queuing applications and service health after you deploy an application in your enterprise.

This is a Level 200 session that was presented by Travis Stanfield. Travis Stanfield joined Microsoft as a Support Professional in January 2000 with a background in computer science. Travis currently works for Product Support Services as a Solutions Integration Engineer (SIE). The purpose of the SIE position is to provide Microsoft customers with reliable technical solutions to complex integration problems associated with business solutions built on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
