FIX: SFU Admin UI Does Not Enumerate all SFU NIS Servers as NIS Masters (816851)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 2.0
  • Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 2.2 OEM Only

SYMPTOMS

The Services For UNIX (SFU) Admin User Interface (UI) does not enumerate all SFU Network Information System (NIS) servers as NIS masters. When SFU NIS Server is installed on all Windows 2000 domain controllers, which are in same domain, SFU Admin UI does not show all NIS servers as NIS masters. When you open SFU admin UI, only one NIS server is displayed as NIS master.
