Internet Explorer Script Error Occurs When You Try to Run the Spell Checker in Content Management Server 2001 (816670)

SYMPTOMS

When you click the ABC button to check your spelling while you edit a Web site in the Microsoft Content Management Server 2001 program, you may receive the following Internet Explorer script error message:
An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist. (1008)

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if you do not have Microsoft Word installed on the Content Management server. The NRDHtml.dll component cannot start the Microsoft Word spell checking function.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, install Microsoft Word on the Content Management server.
