SYMPTOMS
When you try to open SAS System Help, your browser starts, but you may receive one of the following error messages:
The page cannot be found The SAS Web Server has encountered an error HTTP/1.1 404 Not found CAUSE
This issue occurs because Hhctrl.ocx has been updated to version 5.2. Hhctrl.ocx 5.2 is not supported by SAS System Help. Hhctrl.ocx may have been updated to version 5.2 when you installed any of the following products:
- Windows XP Service Pack 1
- Windows 2000 Service Pack 3
- Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows Security Update Q323255
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, obtain and install the SAS 8.2 (TS2M0) BASE SAS Hot Fix Bundle Download for Windows. To obtain this hotfix, visit the following SAS Web site:
