You Cannot Run the Server Configuration Application Tool After You Install Microsoft Content Management Server 2001 SP1 (816609)

SYMPTOMSAfter you install Microsoft Content Management Server 2001 Service Pack 1 (SP1) on a Windows Server 2003-based computer, you may not be able to run the Server Configuration Application (SCA) tool to configure the server.CAUSEThis issue occurs if the Active Server Pages (ASP) Web service extension is not enabled in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 on the Windows Server 2003-based computer. By default, ASP is not enabled in IIS 6.0. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, enable the ASP Web service extension in IIS 6.0. To do so: - Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
- In the left pane, click Web Service Extensions.
- In the right pane, click Active Server Pages, and then click Allow.
- Quit the IIS Manager utility.
