MORE INFORMATION

Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.Systems Management Server (SMS) Service Pack 5 (SP5) provides two new registry keys to correct this problem. These keys are created in the following registry location on the domain controller:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Components\SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER

The two new values are described in the following table:
Registry KeyKey TypeDescription
WaitTimeToDeleteDCDWORDThis value sets the number of days before CCM will delete the account. This value can be set to any number of days.
InvisibleDCListDWORDThis key lists the DCs that were not found in the last account cleanup cycle.
Note If you set the WaitTimeToDeleteDC value to 0, SMS Client Configuration Manager will default to pre-SP5 behavior.
