A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next service pack that contains this hotfix.

The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the
Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.

To apply this fix, follow these steps:
- Install the Transfer Site Settings tool on an SMS .2.0
SP5 site.
- Copy the new Masterlist.xml file from this fix to the
Install drive\sms\bin\i386 folder.
This fix adds a "Site Properties" group to the
Transfer Site Settings tool user interface (UI) that contains the new site connection
settings that have been added in SP5.
Note The
Transfer Site Settings tool replicates only the new settings to other SMS
2.0 SP5 sites. Propagation will fail to an SMS 2.0 Service Pack 4 ( SP)4 site, because the new
settings are not available to SMS sites earlier than SP5. Therefore, the new
settings are not available in the Transfer Site Settings UI if the tool is
run on an SMS 2.0 SP4 site.
