In this session, we will discuss three areas related to Microsoft Data Access Components. The categories covered will be "General Background Information", "Tools and Special Considerations", and "Installation Preparation Guide". The information will cover MDAC versions 2.1 through 2.7 SP1 on operating systems Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.

This is a Level 100 session that will be presented by Terrell Andrews, Harold Ommert and Anita Pitre.

Terrell Andrews joined Microsoft as a developer support professional with the Visual Basic team. He is currently a support professional with the Visual Basic Database team. He supports data access technologies coded in VB and VB.Net.

Harold Ommert joined Microsoft as a FoxPro support professional. He is currently a support professional with the Visual Basic Database team. He supports data access technologies coded in VB and VB.Net.

Anita Pitre joined Microsoft as a developer support professional in 1999. She currently works for Product Support Services (PSS), on the VC Web Data team which supports data access technologies coded in VC and VC.Net applications.
