SYMPTOMS

When you try to start Visual Studio .NET, the splash screen appears briefly, and then Visual Studio .NET does not start. When this problem occurs, you do not receive any type of message.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when the license information for Visual Studio .NET that appears in the registry is not correct.

RESOLUTION
