PRB: User Saved Data Is Not Retained After Upgrade to GIOS 7.65 (814260)

SYMPTOMS

When you upgrade the Motorola GIOS operating system, the user saved data (such as Channel List, Favorites List, and Audio Settings) is not retained.

CAUSE

The GIOS upgrade clears the settings.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in IPG 1.1 and IPG 1.5.

This behavior has been observed in GIOS version 7.65 and earlier versions. Motorola is aware of this issue.
