SQL Server and Microsoft Data Engine Update Information (814107)

SUMMARY

Microsoft recommends that SharePoint Team Services version 1.0 customers make sure that their Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) databases are patched with the latest Microsoft security updates.

Note The version of MSDE that is included with SharePoint Team Services 1.0 was unaffected by the "SQL Slammer" virus. However, Microsoft still recommends that you install the most recent security updates.
