PRB: Error Messages Appear When You Try to Start BizTalk Orchestration Designer (813643)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to start BizTalk Orchestration Designer, you may receive the following error messages:
Problem in modFileCompatibility.UpdatePortMessageShape
Error Number: -2032464666
Error Description:
An exception occurred.
-or-
Problem in modFileCompatibility.UpdateMessageShape
Error Number: -2032464666
Error Description:
An exception occurred.
-or-
Problem in modMain.GlueContainedShapeToContainerConnectionPoint
Error Number: -2032464666
Error Description:
An exception occurred.
After you close the error message boxes, Orchestration Designer starts. However, you may or may not be able to drag shapes to the working area.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. In Control Panel, double-click Regional Options.
  2. Change Your Locale (Location) to English (United States).

STATUS

This issue has been confirmed on the English version of BizTalk 2002.
