SYMPTOMS
When you start Microsoft Outlook while your computer is
connected to a local area network (LAN), and you lose the physical connection
to the LAN (for example, if the network cable is unplugged), you cannot connect
to a Hotmail account by means of a modem.
When you switch to the
Hotmail Inbox, you receive the following error message:
A connection to the server could not be established.
'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp' is now in offline
mode.
When you click
Details, you receive the
following error message:
There may be server or network
problems or your timeout interval may be too short. Please search Microsoft
Outlook Help for (HTTP Mail troubleshooting).
When you click
Send/Receive, you receive one of the following error messages:
Task Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.
Reported error (0x800CCC0E). Unable to connect to the server.
