Windows XP Media Center changes to windowed mode when either of the following conditions are true:

You place a personal digital assistant (PDA) in the synchronization cradle and Media Center is already running.

The PDA is in the synchronization cradle when you start Media Center, and then you press Synchronize.

To return Media Center to full-screen mode, follow these steps:

Start Media Center, and then press Start on the remote control.
On the remote control, press Up, and then press Right to select Maximize.
Press OK on the remote control.
