Movie Maker Age Effects Do Not Appear Correctly (812611)

SYMPTOMS

When you add one of the Film Age video effects to a video clip or picture in Microsoft Windows Movie Maker, you may find that not all the video effects are applied to the video clip, picture, or title in your movie. For example, you may find that the "Lint" effect does not appear.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you are using a video adapter that does not support the hardware alpha blending feature in Microsoft DirectDraw . For example, this issue is known to occur with the 3D Prophet 4500 video card.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
