SYMPTOMS
When you open a Microsoft Excel workbook in Microsoft
Internet Explorer and move back to a Web page, if you then open a workbook in
Microsoft Excel 2000 (in Microsoft Windows Explorer, double-click the Excel
workbook), the worksheet window may not appear.
The following are
examples:
- You open an Excel workbook in the same window ("in-place")
in Internet Explorer. For example, you drag an Excel workbook to Internet
Explorer.
- You click Back to return to the previous
window (Web page) in Internet Explorer.
- You double-click an Excel workbook in Windows Explorer and
open the workbook in Excel, and then close the workbook.
- You double-click the same workbook a second time (from step
3) and open the work book again in Excel.
