Error Message: "Export to Object Package All.sdo Failed" When You Export from Site Manager (810310)
The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMSIf Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) and Microsoft
SQL Server are installed on the same computer, you may receive the following
error message when you use Site Manager to export to a Server Data Object (SDO)
file: Export to Object Package <your-sdo-file>.sdo
failed RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem,
follow
these steps:
- On the MCMS server, open the SQL Server Client Network
Utility.
To
do this, click Start, click Program
Files, click Microsoft SQL Server, and
then click Client Network Utility.
- In the SQL Server Client Network Utility
dialog box, click the General tab.
- Disable
the Enable shared memory protocol
option.
- Restart Internet Information Services (IIS) and SQL Server
to make sure that the new setting takes effect.
STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
