SUMMARY

Works will issue the error message "Cannot Find Linked Document Excel Worksheet [FILENAME]" for the following reasons:

  1. Works has been instructed to create or update a link to an Excel 3.0 spreadsheet that is corrupt or invalid. To verify that a link is correct in an existing word processing document:

    1. Highlight the linked object in the document.
    2. From the Edit menu, choose Links and verify that the drive, path, and filename for the linked file are correct.
  2. No default printer has been specified in the Printers section of the Windows Control Panel.
