Installing Windows 3.0 on a Head Start LX-CD Computer (67261)

SUMMARY

To run Windows version 3.0 on a Head Start LX-CD 8088, you must install for one of the following video drivers:

CGA
Hercules Monochrome
EGA Black and White
EGA Monochrome

Note that the EGA Black and White and EGA Monochrome options appear only in Windows Setup on an 8088, 8086, and 286.

MORE INFORMATION

This computer is equipped with a VGA adapter; however, according to the Phillips Service Company, Windows 3.0 does not install properly when this driver is selected.
