This WebCast will give a general overview of the Smartphone development platform, which includes the software development kit (SDK), development tools, and key application programming interfaces (APIs). This discussion will briefly cover what it takes to receive logo certification and how to design your application for Microsoft Windows Powered devices. Come with questions and feedback about this new set of development tools.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded November 21, 2002 and presented by Cherno Jagne. Cherno Jagne works in PSS in the Mobile Devices Developer Support team. This team supports developers who are targeting Pocket PC 2002, Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition, Smartphone, and the older mobile devices. It also supports OEMs who are building these mobile devices.
