Device May Not Reconnect At Startup (329687)

SYMPTOMS

If you use the ZeroConfig component in a wireless environment, you may see one or more of the following symptoms:
  • Your device may not successfully connect to the wireless network.
  • Your device may connect briefly, and then disconnect.
  • Your device may connect one time, and then not connect the next time that you try it.
In a wired network, the device may try to use DHCP when DHCP has previously been disabled.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft as Windows CE 4.1 Core OS QFE Q329687. To resolve this problem immediately, search for the keyword "QFE" on the following Microsoft Web site:
