This problem may occur whether you are upgrading from SBS 4.5 or installing a new copy of SBS. When this problem occurs, you receive the following error message in the Information box:
One or more sub-components of this component has information to display.
The following error message may be logged in the Errorlog.txt file:

By default, the Errorlog.txt file is located in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Integration\Microsoft Small Business Server 2000\Logs folder.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the Administrator account has been renamed to something other than the default name of "Administrator." A renamed Administrator account may cause problems with credential parameters in the integrated SBS 2000 or SBS 2000 SP1 Setup program. This may cause the POP3 Connector component not to be installed for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, rename the account with administrator permissions back to "Administrator" (you must use an uppercase "A" for the first letter of the name). Then, run Setup again. Note that Setup requires that you use an account with administrator permissions. After Setup completes successfully, you can rename the Administrator account safely.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
