XCCC: Contact List Recipients Are Not Listed When You Use the Find Names Dialog Box (327338)

If you try to access your Exchange 2000 mailbox by using Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), you perform either of the following actions to open the Find Names dialog box:
- On the toolbar, you click Address Book.
-or- - In the Message window, you click To, CC, or BCC.
If you try to find message recipients by using this dialog box, the returned results do not contain any names from your Contacts list.

If you perform a search by using the Find Names dialog box, the search is performed as a direct Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) query against the Global Address List. Therefore, the search does not return any names from the Contacts list.
NOTE: This behavior may be confusing because if you use the Check Name feature, you can have OWA first check names against the Contacts list. To do so, in the Shortcuts view of the Outlook Bar, click Options, and then under Contact Options, click Contacts. This setting only applies to the Check Name feature. It does not apply to the Find Names dialog box.
