The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server

This article was previously published under Q326109 SYMPTOMS When a client prints a document that contains Type 1 Fonts,
the font may be missing from the print job. The problem occurs when the
Enable advanced printing features check box is selected, and
the print server does not have the font installed. CAUSE When a font that is made up of two or more files (like an
Adobe Type 1) is read from the spool file, the section pointer and base address
are only set on the first file. The original code expected these values to be
set on each font file. RESOLUTIONService Pack InformationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows 2000.
