Session Summary



In this session, we will discuss the various Terminal Server licensing models, the advantages and drawbacks of each, and what to look for when troubleshooting problems with the involved services. We will also take an in-depth look at what effects Terminal Server licensing can have within the Active Directory.

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded March 13, 2001 and presented by Tim Thompson: Tim Thompson joined Microsoft as a support professional on the Domains team in February 1999. He has been involved in Windows 2000 since pre-Beta 2, and has focused on Terminal Server related issues in a Domains/Directory Services environment. Tim currently is a Technical Lead on the Directory Services team.
