Session Summary



During this Support WebCast, the discussion will focus on Virtual Catalogs in Microsoft Commerce Server 2002. Virtual Catalogs are a new feature in Commerce Server 2002. You will hear a brief discussion about the architecture of the Commerce Server 2002 product catalog system. The discussion will concentrate on how to create virtual catalogs, use virtual catalogs to aggregate multiple base catalogs, create virtual catalogs to set pricing rules, and provide multicurrency support. You will see the Business Desk catalog module as the discussion vehicle. This WebCast will not include catalog code or code samples.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded June 19, 2002 and presented by Mark Robinson. Mark joined Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) as a support professional in June 1998. He currently leads the Commerce Server support team in PSS and has supported Internet Information Server, Site Server, and Commerce Server programming technologies. Mark has spent most of this past year working directly with the product team during the Commerce Server 2002 product cycle. Mark is an MCSE and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University Of Colorado.
