INFO: Pocket PC: Some Calendar Information Is Not Included with Appointment (322978)

SYMPTOMS

When you beam an appointment from a Windows Powered Pocket PC device to another device, some Calendar appointment information may not included with the appointment.

CAUSE

When you use the infrared port to beam an Appointment, the following properties may not be included in the Appointment on the device that receives the information:
  • Reminder
  • Status
  • Categories
This behavior is by design. The message format that transfers the appointment when you beam the appointment to another device may cause this result. You may experience this behavior when you use the Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP) or POP3 formats to send appointments.
